Real-time. Process data collection, reporting and analysis

 Wessex Power, market leaders in monitoring   process temperatures is now offering a Real Time facility (DataTrace RF Temperature Logger). 

“We have seen some amazing advances in  technology with this particular product,” says Nigel Barfoot, Marketing Director, who introduced the first device in 1986. “Back then you had to return the original with its battery to the manufacturer. We then progressed to a field replaceable battery version and on to the present day radio communication  system.” 

The MPRF temperature loggers provide accurate data over a wide temperature range from  -80C to +400C (-112F to +752F) and come either with a rigid or bendable probe length   depending on the use required. 

“For many processes where product quality is crucial, to be able to monitor in real time is a major breakthrough,” added Nigel. “The data can be visually displayed and logged for ease of tracking. Gone are the days when you found out at the end of a cycle that something was not working and had to start again.” 

The benefit to businesses in savings of both time and money are evident. Industries which could substantially gain include Pharmaceuticals, Food, Medical and Manufacturing. Each MPRF logger can collect 8,000 data points, ideal for longer processes. 

“The United States and Mexico are already placing orders and I know the demand from the UK is going to be high. The versatility of the product to monitor, chilling and freezing  processes right through to the intense heat required for sterilisation puts it at the forefront for so many industries,” concluded Nigel.
