IAQ Monitors Indoor Air Quality? - How good is the air you breathe at work?
Indoor air quality is of concern to a great many in the UK, indeed the need the for clean air is well understood as are the possible effects of poor air quality including Occupational Asthma, Wessex Power are the UK distributor for the superb Genano range of MFI air filtration systems. We have a range of complementary products that monitor the overall quality of the air available.
From BW we have two monitors; firstly the handheld GasProbe IAQ which simultaneously and continuously monitors up to four parameters: carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), relative humidity (rH), and temperature (To). Instantaneous readings are displayed on a large, alphanumeric LCD. Secondly the GasAlertMicro 5 PID which again is a handheld instrument for measuring VOCs. VOCs include building materials, paints, paint strippers, solvents, wood preservatives, correction fluid, aerosol sprays, cleansers, disinfectants, air fresheners, adhesives, stored fuels, automotive products and office equipment such as copiers and printers.
From Ion Science we have the superb PhoCheck range. The PhoCheck 1000 is a low price, entry level, photoionisation detector, ideal for use in non-hazardous environments for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), monitoring with a detection range of 0.1 - 4,000 ppm
